There are two kinds of players in Boom Beach. One is to lay down the boom on our enemies’ bases and raid their resources. The other one is to adopt a farming play style in Boom Beach, where we can steadily accumulate resources over time. But here I am just going to introduce you the strategies of farming in Boom Beach. Let’s have a look at it.
1. Maximizing Production Resources
a. Make sure our sawmill, quarry and iron mine are completely maxed for our HQ level.
b. Resource bases are critical. Capture and hold as many as we can.
c. Make at least one masterpiece-level statue for gold, wood, iron or stone production. We don’t need Masterpiece statues for each one, and our resource of focus is entirely up to us.
d. Make a resource production masterpiece statue and keep it boosted at all times. It increases every resource and also has a compounding effect when combined with other green statues.
e. Production is important but statue slots are limited. Build our masterpieces but don’t fill our slots with green guardian statues.
f. Upgrade our submarine to the highest level allowed and constantly dive for resources. Supplement any shortfalls in a particular resource by diving or utilizing the daily rewards from our resource reward boat and operations reward boat.
g. Make a Building Health and Defensive Building Damage MP because it will boost resource base defense.
h. Max our vault to keep all resources safe.
2. Supplement by Raiding VP-neutral Bases
a. Only raid NPC bases and Dr. Terror, because these do not increment our victory point (VP) total.
b. Make Troop Health and Troop Damage Masterpiece statues to help our attacks.
c. Make a Resource Reward Masterpiece to increase the loot gained
d. Farming doesn’t mean neglecting offense completely. Being able to attack NPC bases and Dr. Terror is crucial to supplement production loot.
e. We should get red and purple Statues as far as possible, because they are good source of loot, and not a single VP. Before attacking Dr. Terror, we need to boost these two Statues.
3. Avoid Getting Raided
a. The key to success is staving off enemy raids. We can lower our VP and upgrade our defenses to defense our base.
b. We should also have two Blue Masterpieces for base health and base damage, but there’s no need to use up statue slots with blue guardians.
c. Lower VP requires us to place our HQ next to the beach to make it easy to attack. Do this when our resources are completely protected by our vault so that our losses are minimized. The best time to do it is during Dr. Terror events when everyone is out raiding.
d. When we are no longer raided for approximately one week, we have reached our optimal VP total. Then our opponents cannot defeat our defenses and we can hold all our resources safely.
